The TRA has recently licensed spectrum to Starlink in a new satellite frequency band—known as the S-Band—for the first time in FSM. This is part of our ongoing work to manage FSM’s radio spectrum—the invisible airwaves that carry mobile, TV, and internet signals. This assigned is an important step in enabling new types of mobile and communication services via satellite, which could help improve connectivity in remote and underserved areas.
